ok, i am extremely dim and managed to get this picture of dennis on here twice. he is partaking of his usual healtful breakfast of cheetos and rootbeer. i told him not to stare into the camera, but to gaze thoughtfully at the amaryllis, so as to give this shot 'as unstudied an air as possible'.

the cup is my favorite christmas mug because it was ben's. i've been cleaning and organizing my dish cupboards and china closet. too much stuff. i will show pictures of the results when i have more time.

Did I ever tell you that I saw Ben on the freeway once in his water delivery truck? Every time I see one now it reminds me of that moment. over the river and through the woods, to grandmother's house we go.
the horse knows the way to carry the sleigh through the white and drifted snow.
over the river and through the woods, oh how the wind doth blow;
it stings the toes and bites the nose as over the ground we go.

over the river and through the woods,to have a day of play.
oh hear the bells ring, ting-a-ling, for it's thanksgiving day.
over the river and through the woods, trot fast, my dapple gray.
spring over the ground like a hunting hound for this is thanksgiving day.

over the river and through the woods and straight through the barnyard gate.
we seem to go extremely slow, it is so hard to wait.
over the river and through the woods, now grandmother's cap i spy.
hoorah for the fun! is the pudding done? hoorah for the pumpkin pie.
