to respond to the comments to my last blog:
shelley, i unpicked the side of the pocket on dennis' pants, then mended the tear, then sewed the side of the pocket back on.
sara, i'm sure that making little doggie wash mits like that one would be quite simple. find some white and pink washcloths and try it, why don't you. the seam goes up one side at the one corner of the mouth. sew the cloth into a tube, cut triangles off each side to make the pointy noise, then sew a square of pink inside that end. the ears wouldn't be hard, and i think she just sewed on store bought pom poms for eyes.

we had a tea party on saturday night. banner, tennyson and i cooked. banner helped me make ribbon sandwiches and peanut butter and elderberry jelly sandwiches cut like hearts.



banner brought down her tea set. the company was quite select owing to the fact that we only had four place settings. we invited jenny, but dennis had to share my plate after the priesthood session, and the fish weren't invited.

tennyson made apple dumplings, very delish.

i watched a movie last night. here is a quote from the movie: "did you fall out of bed?"
