the sweet cherries are not ripe yet, but getting yellow. the birds haven't touched them yet, but they will soon.
my cherry tree has more cherries than it's ever had. maybe you can't see them so well, but if you click on this pic you'll see they're there.
here's my asparagus before i weeded it. now it looks better.
you can see the dill is all over in my strawberries, also they are blooming.
okay, not a garden plant, but still cute.

these, i think, are grape tomatoes. if so, they should be getting red soon.
it is dennis' birthday today. instead of a cake we had raspberry blueberry pie. yum.
and coconut cream pie which is dennis' favorite.
we started the celebration early and ate pie yesterday...for breakfast...while gardening.
these are from my bushes, i think they're pretty great. well, anyway, happy birthday to dennis.

I was hoping you would do a birthday blog for Dennis. What did we ever do before blogging. The pie looked delicious. And the garden of course looks great. Looking forward to seeing you soon in a week.
Happy Birthday to Dennis! That pie does look delicious I think i could go for some of that rigght now. Andrew and i are trying to work out our two very strong personalities and try to put a retaining wall in Sara's backyard. I don't know if it will get done considering I want to do it one way and he wants to do it another. Oh well.... We will see you soon!
