do you want to guess again?

we came across another unknown poet.   here is a sample of this poet's work.

Ode to a garden

Dirt cascading round my feet
Sometimes turned to mud by the cold
rush of fresh spring
rain
Upon my face it will
fall
washing away the sweat
of my labors
Bending down my hand full of
Life
I release the tiny seeds of the earth
the sun shines
spreading its rays
to cover the earth
grow
Budding green leaves
a new life reaching for the glory
Hear the rain upon the once dry ground
when the day changes to night
and the clouds that were promised
empty blessings on our head
dawn
the smell of newly
wetted earth
fills my lungs
I reach out to feel the soft blossoms
glistening with the drops of moisture
fall
Harvest has come
with the new season
berries that stain my lips
the sweet crunch of apples between my teeth
I have helped this
grow
Thanksgiving
I place the fresh apple pie on the table
And give thanks

who do you think wrote this poem?

I think Leslie wrote this poem.

I was so far off last time I don't dare venture a guess.

It seems so familiar. Have you found my Senior year English Class Poetry notebook. Just kidding, I could never write that. I struggled even with my Limericks. My guess is Zelda or Leslie. I like the part " I helped to make this grow". I love thinking about all the things that we get to help grow with help from above, especially as I am looking out my back window at my creeping phlox and basket of gold just beginning to bloom.

I agree with Whitney, I think Les wrote that poem and I even think I may have somehow read it before. Could that be?

Are you going to tell us who wrote the poem?
