hello. it's been a while, i know. banner and i went out into the garden and took these pictures just now. the first one is of a hummingbird nest in our willow tree. the bird was on the nest, but you can't see her because of the angle. dennis thinks this is the same hummingbird pair that used to build nests in the garage at grandpa's.the next two i think you can figure out for yourself. banner and i were weeding and found these little treasures. quite a few have been frosted, but some have survived and now that it has warmed up some, maybe we'll get more than a handfull next time we pick.
guess what else is coming up in the garden. it's about time for a pie i think
this is on the east side of grandpa's house under his bedroom window. i wish whitney could see these because she always loved the peonies.

I can't believe that you have peonies and rhubarb. Gosh, I feel so behind. I am going to mow my lawn for the first time tomorrow and then next week will plant the garden. The Asparagus looks really good. And just thinking about the rhubarb makes my mouth water. When can you come up?
you garden is producing already. youv'e got the only two vegetables that are perenials. reminds me of your rhubarb syrup. I love that stuff. anne adele
Rhubarb pie here I come. I will be coming down on Friday after work for Memorial Day weekend. I am looking forward to spending some time down home. I am trying to get the quilt done so it will be already to quilt. See you all soon.
